Hagerty came today for a repair. Said it was a minor fix, in and out in just a few moments. Did the preventive maintenance while they were here. They had every right to charge a service call but told me it was a simple fix don’t worry about this one. This is why I have used Hagerty for over 30 years. Theres not many good honest companies left out there. I will always use Hagerty.

I had a broken spring, and called out another company. I was quoted over 800 dollars from this company to change springs, and they said I needed cables and rollers as well as mine were shot. And that I should probably change the drums while im doing cables. This didn’t seem right to me and I told the other company I would think about what I wanted to do as I thought I could almost get a new door for $800. Through a recommendation I called Hagerty. Doug came out right away and assessed the situation. He said it was just a broken spring but it would be a good idea to change both as they have the same number of cycles on them. He also looked at the cables and rollers and rest of door and thought they looked good but wouldn’t be for sure until door was operating again and he could check it. So I agreed to change springs and look at rest. Doug took measurements and gave me a higher cycle spring and got the door operating. After springs were changed he looked over everything else and said it all looked good. Nothing needed replaced and that the other guy was trying to take me to the cleaners. He oiled up the door and it hasn’t sounded or ran better than it does now. Total cost was $250. Save yourself the trouble I had and call Hagerty the first time. It will save you money. Now all my friends and family use them as well.

Very prompt service. I called and they were able to come out the same day. I’ve dealt with numerous service companies for different things over the years, but I cant say that I have come across one so friendly and knowledgeable. The service man was so kind and he did a very good job explaining what was wrong and why it happened. After his initial explanation I had no questions. That was a first for me. It's refreshing to get a service company out and not feel like you were taken. Our door was crooked and would not move. I thought it was toast and I would need a new door. Called Hagerty over to try to get car out, and Doug had the door working like new in about an hour. All around $150! Wow! Hagerty is our go to garage door company.

We just moved to the area and purchased a home. We were looking to change called them they scheduled a time that worked for us to come over and look at what we had. Doug was very knowledgeable in the doors and asked us all the questions that we didn’t even think of to really give us the look we were looking for.
